This update will fix an error in one of the supplementary statistics displayed with Random Forests, Boosted Trees, and C&RT. The defect is restricted to variable importance spreadsheets in those modules. While the graph of the importance of variables is correct, the corresponding importance spreadsheet is sorted in descending order according to the variable importance measure however, the variable names corresponding to the importance values were not placed in the appropriate order. The result is an incorrect spreadsheet of variable importance measures. The corresponding graph of variable importance which was also sorted in descending order is correct.
MR-3 update posted on October 31, 2008. This release includes STATISTICA Data Miner Recipes with its wizard-like user interface for STATISTICA Data Miner, STATISTICA Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), along with various updates.
