SatSoft is making available a free Introduction to Data Mining using STATISTICA video series. The course is a set of 35 video tutorials covering both concepts and hands-on examples of data mining projects. The series starts with an overview of data mining and continues through the steps of typical data mining projects: data cleaning and preparation, model building and evaluation, and model deployment. The intent of this series is to familiarize you with data mining, so that you are empowered to start your own data mining projects. You will see the tools that are available and the output they produce with tips about interpreting it. The series will cover typical ways to communicate the project outcomes to your colleagues and to operationalize the project's insights.
